Program Highlights
-
The Southside Heat Soccer program is a Community based Girls Soccer Program located in Southwest Atlanta focused on player development and youth enrichment. (highest level competitive team in southwest Atlanta)
Our focus is on student-athlete development, technical ball mastery and game tactics as it relates to our soccer philosophy of high-pressure defense and quick-passing possession based offense.
We believe cost should not be an obstacle of entry to high quality soccer training.
Over the years several of our Girls have earned Collegiate Soccer Scholarships, and Two (2) Girls have been named to the Georgia Olympic Development Program (ODP).

Coaches Corner
Determined Girls.

“Even though we don’t have the resources as far as access to nighttime fields and what not, I think our program is solid,” says Coach Askew. “[This can be] evidenced by the fact that we’re pulling from the selection of fourteen kids, versus our competition, which has 300-400, maybe even 1,000 kids to pull from to build a team. By that I’m pretty proud of what we’re doing.”
